QQI Accredited Programmes
CAFTA was established in 1987 and has provided training locally and nationally for most of this time. In March 2015 there was some major changes regarding funding that had led to CAFTA down sizing. CAFTA were in an unique position that enabled them to distribute most of their Staff throughout the community to continue the great work that they do.CAFTA board have continued with their CE scheme of 19 participants that support other agencies within the community. They also continue to deliver some QQI training with partner agencies.

CAFTA is a QQI (Quality & Qualifications Ireland) accredited centre. CAFTA in partnership with DCU in the Community deliver level 5 components
CAFTA, with our partners in education, offer a progression route for participants that see residents move through our programmes to third level courses.
Community Employment (CE)
Community Employment is designed to support unemployed people to get back into the workforce by working and training in the community.
CAFTA celebrated their 30 years working in the Ballymun community in 2017.
