CAFTA offer a wide range of training from first step training to university level.

CAFTA offers the following training programmes:

  • The Housing Transition Programme                                The programme is specially designed to support residents in transition to their new homes and aaims to help build strong sustainable communities in their new neighbourhoods. The Programme is funded by Ballymun Regeneration Ltd
  • Home & Self Management Courses
    These are first step personal development courses funded by Ballymun Regeneration Ltd.
  • Parenting Courses
    There are three exciting programmes, 123 Magic, Positive Parenting, Parenting Teens funded by Ballymun Regeneration Ltd.
  • Estate Management Fetac Level 5                                             The course aims to provide participants with an understanding of tenants rights and reponsibilities and the skills and resources for  community engagement in Estate management. 
  • Family & Community Support Fetac Level 5                          This course explores the common ground shared by 'family support' and 'community development' in challenging adversity and disadvantage within vulnerable populations.
  • Working with Groups Fetac Level 5 This course enables participants to recognise the characteristics of effective groups, to understand the development of groups and the nature of conflict and function of leadership in groups.  The course course is run in partnership with DCU in the Community                                 
  • Certificate in Community Development and Leadership
    This part-time course is run locally and certified by National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
  • Incredible Years
    This programme offers parents exciting and fun training - in easy steps to learn how to improve the behaviour and wellbeing of your child. It is run in partnership with Young Ballymun and local schools.
