Mission Statement
CAFTA works for personal and social change. It empowers individuals and communities by providing education, training and support to people of Ballymun and other areas of economic disadvantage.
CAFTA
CAFTA was established in 1987 and has provided training locally and nationally for most of this time. Our voluntary Board is made up of local residents, Little Sisters of the Assumption and employees of educational, state and community bodies.
CAFTA offers the following training programmes:
- The Housing Transition Programme
- Post Occupancy Training
- Home & Self Management Programme
This is a first step personal development programme - Parenting Courses
There are three exciting programmes, 123 Magic, Positive Parenting, Parenting Teens - Community Development and Leadership
This part-time course is run locally and certified by National University of Ireland, Maynooth. - Community & Family Support with National College of Ireland
This course is for Ballymun residents only and is certified by NCI - Incredible Years
This programme offers parents exciting and fun training - in easy steps to learn how to improve the behaviour and wellbeing of your child - Community Employment Training Programme in Partnership with FAS
Provides training and progression for participants - Little Rascals Creche
The creche provides quality affordable childcare services
